Madisound sells 50x TC9s for under $400US. No idea about shipping overseas, but that's a lot of line array for the money.
Wow, just 3 yrs later Madisound's price has more than doubled. I just paid $780 for a case of 45 of these which ends up being just over 17 bucks a piece. PE has it advertised for 10 bucks each but won't be in stock anytime soon and I suspecr their price will go up. I've tried quite a few other small drivers and the TC9 is the best sounding one in this price range to build an array with.
Yeah, the prices for the TC9 tend to be all over the place. I bought a case of 45 from Madisound a little over a year ago (Dec 2020) and they ended up being $7.85/ea and shipping was free. If I'd known what they were going for today I would have bought every case they had ("but dear - these are an investment!) 😎
