I just came across a couple dozen 6" drivers. Paper cones, cloth surrounds, alnico magnets (rather large).
There's a stamped logo on the magnet: an oak leaf, with a lightning bolt through it...any idea who the mfg. might be?

How do you know it was an oak leaf? Are you sure it isn't a maple leaf? Lots of Canadian products and money in upstate NY.

No "934" anywhere. 2755-3 above the logo, 8K2030-2 below, 91 D 315 below that. 234855 on the back of the cone. (google searching came up empty)
I would call the surrounds "accordian", there are three bumps, the largest at the cone's edge. But.... I'm not really sure what half rolls look like.

Yes, I need a camera, there are laughs aplenty for me to share, and perhaps some usefull tips too.... My shop is a hoot only you guys would appreciate.
I was driving past a church and noticed a pile of black, sawed-up, 3' dia. sonotubes stacked by the curb. I thought "hey, I could build some speakers out of those" ...turned around, got out and while I was circling the tubes, I nearly tripped over the stack of baffles. Three foot circles, thigh high, five drivers in each one.
Stuck one in a test baffle....nice. Time to do some measurin'.

None of those numbers seem to correspond with the EIA codes used by us manufacturers... the closest would be the 234855, but 234 doesn't come up on any of the lists (934=Oaktron), and the rest would indicate made in the 55th week of a year ending in 8 and that doesn't work... If haven't got any real handle on the Canadian codes except that RSCs all seem to have a 4 place code that is usually 3 letters & a number and mostly the 1st letter is D.

Make sure it's a jpeg, less than 600 pixels wide, and under 100k. Then you should have no problems.
