Are you talking about Paul McGowan?
Yes, that Paul. Your conclusion likely says more about you, than him.

A long time ago I learnt that some speakers (typically Far Eastern) had much lower compliance in their suspension systems than typically British units.
Japanese amplifiers were then mainly voltage amplifiers whilst UK examples concentrated more on current delivery.
This must ultimately affect the sonic signature of each approach to music reproduction.

Yes, I'm probably more suspicious of extra-ordinary claims than him, for what are likely obvious reasons 🙂Yes, that Paul. Your conclusion likely says more about you, than him.
Are you talking about Paul McGowan? Funny how perception varies, watching his videos he comes across to me as a first rate BS merchant 🙂
I figure he means well, but just can't pull it together.
None of his current products are his design. The Stellar amps are just repackaged ICEPower modules. For their speaker project they eventually gave up and brought in an outsider to fix the mess. The man actually believes cables change audio and then backed down when challenged. And FWIW, PS Audio's prices are ridiculous.
He's charismatic, I'll give him that, I actually like the guy ... but he's wrong a lot more often than he's right.
