Anyone here familiar with this amp? It uses 12x MJ15001 transistors per channel, and I found that two of them were shorted on the left channel. One half of the driver stage looks to be 2N6211 and 2N6306. Can't see what the other pair are unless I take the board out of the case.
On the working channel, I noticed that the speaker cone momentarily moves in or out when turning the volume control up or down. Not sure if that is normal or not. Sound also starts coming out before the relay comes on, but it sounds clearer once the relay is on.
Once I get home I can post more pics, but here is a shot from when I got it yesterday.
Huge power transformer, and a pair of 10,000uf filter caps. Power rails are +100v and -100v.
