I have Marantz receiver the slim series and monitor audio floor standing speakers. br series I belive about 3-4 feet tall.
after upgrading my tv with a 55 inch 4k tv I got rid of everything that was around the tv. all the clutter is gone and id like to keep it that way.

what im looking for is a 2 channel amp/receiver I will never have surround. never had not a big fan of it. I will also never have a sound bar or any speaker systems with tiny *** full range and subwoofer. they sound like sht.
I like full size speakers that can handle full spectrum without DSP like many of those dinky *** speakers try to do.
anyway..
im loking for a 2 channel amp that has HDMI inputs for tv and blu ray player
and possibly for a music server later.
speakers: titanium tweeters, Kevlar or CF cone.
price range I would say 700-800 total for the amp and speakers.
