Martin King's seems like a complex affair... Is it a calculating
software or spreadsheats that you got to calculate yourself???.

It is a set of worksheets you run in MathCad (free demo version is available). The UI is not what you call slick, but it is more capable than anything else out there (IMHO) with the exception of AkaBak (and it is really a programming language)

Martin King's software is designed to be used by anybody, and it's pretty much a "fill in the blanks" process. It doesn't design the box but it's very easy to get started.
For a TL, you just need to worry about the driver parameters, and the box's area and length "above" the driver (closed end), and "below" the driver (open end). Even the OB and BLH models are pretty easy to use.
It does get more advanced if you want to model the in-room response. You specify the distance to each wall, how many degrees the box is rotated etc. But you can ignore those parts until you're interested in them.
I don't understand any of the math and physics, and luckily, it's not necessary. You can always ask questions on MJK's Yahoo group. It's very newb-friendly (I am one of the newbs).

MJK's spreadsheets are very nice and once you get the hang of it not at all difficult.
