Beyma in Spain told me there's nothing that can be done if I can't get the exact recone kit, so who can I ship it to if they don't have that recone kit. Because alternating the kit will give it a different sound when I have 2If you can find a competent shop, get it fixed.
Shipping is expensive, the risk of damage is there.
200W RMS, Made in Spain, impressive.
JMF, I stand enlightened. Thanks.
It seems that some people are not really reading your posts. 😉 If your friend thinks he can find old parts to repair your Beyma, that seems the way to go. You've done your work and been told there is no recone kit. You "could" repair the hole yourself, but you have already found that to be difficult and maybe the driver is already too damaged.
If your friend can find a fix, that is the best overall idea.

There are many variations in cone material, and it will be difficult without the right quality, and also the workmanship has to be good.
There are things like the paper itself, thickness, stiffness, treatment / coating and so on.
The coil also has to be spot on.
The alternate is to scrap them, not a nice thought either.
Best to send them to an experienced person.

Exactly and I found a company in Spain they say they have a recone kit, and beyma told me they are reputable company ... I reached out to them as well, they have an old listing and they said that's an old speaker add , they never took down, now if I'm going to the horses mouth and they keep telling me there's no kit for it, but there's away but beyma has moved on with other products.....
Like Cuba they improvised their sources to fix their old cars....
Also I met a guy in California that fixes tesla cars, at first you couldn't buy parts but Elon finally did
😆 🤣 😂

If the speaker is being used properly then these things can be measured and adjusted.the sound won't be the same.t.all
IF assembling a recone kit from a mishmash of parts, try to select them one by one, even if from different brands or suppliers, to best match the priginal ones.
The most critical by far, both by sound and geometry (it must fit the original basket) is the cone.
Beyma used to be "inspired" by JBL, big time, so your first task is to search for a JBL (ish) cone: same dimensions, rings/grooves (or not), weight , if possible same thickness, and you have 80% of the sound there.
The voice coil is less critical, but of course must have exact same diameter to fit in the existing gap, same former length os slightly more, you usually can trim it back a little with scissors, same winding length , and of course wound with edgewound Aluminum ribbo.
Being 22 y.o. it might already use Kapton for the former, even glass fiber epoxy, get the same because former material changes the sound appreciably.
I mean Beyma should have a current voice coil that fits, Factories do not change "mechanical" parts much for very good practical reasons.
Spider and dome are much less critical and equivalent parts are relatively easy to find, except if they used an direct-on-voicecoil aluminum dome á la Altec or JBL-
But a cloth or paper dome? ... no big deal.
I suggest you ask them for a proper size voicecoil, and maybe thay can suggest a matching JBL cone.

If you heard my truck, you would notice the sound, I have 2 L7 kickers subs
With a zapco c2k 9.0 with rms over 2200 rms
Then 2 beyma 122nd midbass
2
2 beyma 6.5
With a zapco c2k 4.0, over 600
All in a 2000 dodge ram pick up single cab,
I always notice when something is not right, leave a bag in the car I hear it rattle. The tech that installed it told me to find all the components to put this masterpiece together..
I just left the beyma spot he said, he can get it at the same specs, but it's a pain in the ***
