hi there,
does anyone have a solution/ideas for the following.
i have a pretty good Dolby receiver, but i do not want to use it for stereo sources.
therefor i have only connected my DVD to the Dolby box.
when i watch movies i need to replug my speakers from Stereo poweramp to dolby amp in order to get all 5 channels....
i'm lazy and this takes time....
is there (apart from a switch box for the speakers) another solution?
i've tried to connect the FL and FR channels of the Dolby box to an input of the Stereo amp, but then i need to set the volume of the stereo in a fixed position each time i watch movies in order to keep the channels equally load.
then i can adjust the total volume by changing the volume of the dolby box
All in all not very pleasant to work with.
I'm thinking of disconnect on input frm the stereo amp from the volume control and just use the stereo as a switch for Dolby FL and FR channels (or maybe get a damn good line switch as the signal patch from my stereo pre-amp to power amp must not suffer in quality.)
anyone another good idea???
Cheers
