This is the arm that came with the 401 that I recently obtained. I'm replacing it, but am curious what it is, and if it's any good.

Never seen one like this. Is it my eyes, or is it 12"? Unipivot? Might not be so bad.

Hi Peter,

Please excuse my ignorance...
It's 9 inches between the pivot and the stylus tip, if that's how it's measured.
Attached is an (unfocussed) pic of the pivot assembly.

The tonearm is an Audio Technica Modwel AT1005II
