Does anyone recognise these square drivers?

No idea if these are even hifi - but found in a garage clearout alongside a couple of seas and Morel drivers.

Seem to have lots of parallel voice coils and a flat back, never seen anything like them....

No markings on them at all

I remember having them when I worked at Speaker City in the 80s. They were really midranges with no bass or high treble. They were very inefficient from my memory. The plastic membrane was soft and flexible to an extent. Very odd design.

Those were called dynapleet drivers. They sold them throughout the 80s. They sounded nice as midranges but you had to use multiple drivers to get any decent system efficiency. Not bad for what they used to cost, just not very durable or easy to use.
