does anyone know this amp? Mosfet 80W *2

12V-14V @ 10A sounds *exactly* like a car radio.

Recent auto-sound (my 2002 Honda) tended to be four channels @ 16 Watts clean in 4r (21W "sine-like" at high THD appropriate to a party-car). So with two 2r-capable chips we have 2*32W is 64 Watts *total* (to 2*"42W" = 84W *total*).

Then having figured the Total watts for two channels, we double it again because it is stereo, right???

It's a decent car radio. With home-size speakers it may do better than your Hyundai's factory audio.

And sure is a pretty box.

'Certainly does, or at least I think that's what most of it is. The power here is all in the advertising copy - the work of guys who scan their trendy and clever descriptions from free sources on social media where it gets used like a weapon - or a seductive enticement, according to intent.

Too bad it takes a while to discover that toys like this one on offer, aren't quite so cool, trendy, easy to operate, low noise or powerful after all. At US$160, I'd say we was robbed! :grumpy:

Ooof, I missed that.

A random stab at WalMart (huge department store) finds:
$95 - JVC KD-X350BTS 4*22Wrms radio w/BluTooth and USB
$80 - Pioneer radio w/Ford wires, 4*25Wrms
$47 - TV screen 1024x600 with blutooth, USB, "50W*4" (same as others)
These do not include the 12V 10A supply, of course. And they are only pretty on one face.
