Ok my 2 cents:
Now as for the Peerless i think they can match most good commercial products. I consider the drivers "state of the art" plus the drivers are used in other commerial subwoofers as well!
In comparison to REL ... as far as i know REL use VOLT drivers
( http://www.voltloudspeakers.co.uk ) . Now these drivers are fairly expensive. I only know one Volt driver ( the B2500 ) and i would be very happy if I had a pair of these ...
AS for the Ravelands:
Well i think that the simple commercial subwoofers that you can buy for a few hundred bucks are not really better. Imo the Ravelands are very good for the money. Since i don´t know the Yamaha that´s all i can say. Sorry Peter , that´s the best i can do ...
