Hi,
I just got a lot of power supplies and huge capacitors (8 * 37000 µf) for free. That man told me the capacitors are a little dried out, but it's possible to reactivate them, does anyone know how I can realise that??
Thanks a lot.

Hi Hugobross.
I've heard a lot of stuff about capacitors, but when it comes to dried out capacitors, I've only heard one thing: Buy new ones, but since I've got some old ones as well as You do, it would please me if it's possible to bring them back to life.

Restoring electrolytics was the topic of another thread. Have a look at: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=390
There are instructions at http://www.angela.com.
What you do is that you basically set them up with limited current for about an hour.
