In Walter Jungs "Active Filter Cookbook" you can find this.

Search for "infinite variable state filter", can be a good start.

I have the complete service manual for a Technics Parametric Equalizer, unfortunately can't I find it.

I have a vague memory of that it was made conventially with gyrator circuits, but I'm not sure.

i have seen a design there and it look alright base on the circuit and i believe it still have room for expansion. check it out and try to analyse, i have not tried this set-up.🙂
