does a single pair of IRFP240 9240 requires a source resistor? since we dont have any current sharing at the output and I observe the absence of the source resistor even in Hiraga amplifier. I think there could be little sonic improvement if the source resistor is eliminated as its in the path...

Adcom GFA-5200 has that transistor complement and it has 0.1R, and I replaced with 0.07R. Next time I would use 0.05 as it makes the math work out better while setting the bias current.
