Does 15 = 30? (corrected format)

I would like to add speaker wall plates to 2 walls in my living room, so that if I wanted to change the room around I could simply move the amp from one wall to the other and make the connections there. What effect if any would that have on sound quality?

Based on the diagram, connecting the amp to one of the wall plates the wire run would be 15 feet. But because the second run to the other wall plate is also 15', does that equate to the amp driving a total of 30' of wire or just 15' beacuse of the distance from one wall plate to the actual speaker?

wall plate--> | |-----15'wire-----(in-ceiling speaker)-----15'wire-----| | <---wall plate

The amp will only see the load of the speaker provided you don't plug anything into the other plate (this includes small children with forked objects). You must have a complete circuit for power to flow. As long as the terminals at the other plate are open the amp won't see them.😉
