Hence, round-earthers are just as extreme as flat-earthers. No viewpoint is any more valid than any other.Panicos K said:phn, what I meant actually was that since the attidute of engineers and ''believers'' is the same(extreme),then why only ''believers''are flat earthers?

Only we Klein Bottle-Earthers have true insight.

Oh oh...that drew me back in...
How many dimensions does it take to describe a Klein Bottle?
(sounds like lightbulb joke...)
IIRC a Klein bottle can be embedded in four without self-intersecting.macgyver10 said:Oh oh...that drew me back in...

I hold the extreme position that the earth is round. Meanwhile, flat-earthers hold the extreme position that the earth is flat. Since we both hold extreme positions, we must both be incorrect, because of course the truth can't possibly be at an extreme, but instead somewhere in between.Panicos K said:dumbass, can you axplain that in Greek?

This is true...(and also out of my league, but I'm parroting somebody who's answered this for me in the past), but the Klein Bottle itself is a 2 dimensional manifold.
It cannot be embedded in 3D, it requires 4D as you said.
That's enough....I'm back out!

Where is your tongue planted?
Okay...really...I'm gone.
Thanks dumbass, your Greek is very good.I thought that this was what you meant,I just wanted to be sure.Efharisto.
I think it was a differential geometry course where we proved it. Once you build up the machinery (manifolds, mappings, certain theorems, etc), the proof is trivial.macgyver10 said:This is true...(and also out of my league, but I'm parroting somebody who's answered this for me in the past), but the Klein Bottle itself is a 2 dimensional manifold.

Man, that was a long *******' time ago.
By your implication, there are many well respected amplifiers that you would brand ill-designed.
Yes, I'd go with that. Start with those marginally stable French jobs that like to go up in flames every once in a while...
Hi jlsem,
Off the top of my head, try the Symasym thread. 3,001 and going ...........
I'm sure there are more around here.

I don't know, why don't you ask that 67 times, and I could answer it truthfully 😀
might be 'the' thread-

Indeed.
What? That's a new word for me. Have you been chatting to Destroyer X? 🙂
Mmm, Beer. See you all later.
Look up what the ConeHeads (SNL sketches) gave the kids when they came to the door at Halloween.
Coneheadish, ie Coneistic.
Hi SY,

Why can I not find a fault with your argument there?? I must have looked at some in the past. Proximity: a French Canadian disaster. There's another one.Yes, I'd go with that. Start with those marginally stable French jobs that like to go up in flames every once in a while...
