Do Multi-Deck Rotary Switched Share Poles?

What the title said. Never worked with multi-deck rotary switches before and have a current project where I think I could use one. I just want to know if each deck is discreet or are poles shared between decks?

Between decks usually not, but some contacts in the same deck can be shared.
For example in Vintage amps for speaker selection Off, A, B, A+B.

Usually separate, but check the mfr spec sheet, since it's possible.
