Looking at the data sheet for the DN2540N5 I noticed that it has a 500ma
continious current rating and the peak current rating is the same 500ma!
I can't rember seeing a device with a peak current rating = to the continious
rating could it be a typo?
By the way I built this tube circuite subsituting this device for the triodes
using 6 ohm source resistors and adding 200 ohm grid stoppers.

And? How did you like it?By the way I built this tube circuite subsituting this device for the triodes

What datasheet did you use?Looking at the data sheet for the DN2540N5

Yes I used that data sheet. I just verified that the circuite did work with a 2" test
speaker and never realy listened to it. This circuite came from Tubecad different
triodes can be used for the vas and output section. I would realy like to try this
using a pair of IXTH20N50 devices but they are rather hard to find. Digikey only
wants $6.77 each but has a mimimum purchace of 60 on these. Nelson talked a little
about this device at the Burning Amp show.
