DIY Sound Group has restocked some speaker kits. This is the last chance to buy the Vortex 12 coaxials. The Jeff Bagby-designed Helix dome MTM kit has also been restocked. Not affiliated with the website, just a very frequent customer who knows that inventory has been hit-or-miss so I want to give folks here the drop.
Erich said that for the first year and a half they were on the site, only two people ordered a pair. Now, my $.02 on that matter is that was due to no enclosure kit ever being offered. As it stands now, the Vortex 15 and Vortex 12 drivers are hot commodities in light of Erich announcing their being phased out, ironically due to a lack of sales. I’m not even sure he made back his tooling investment on those.
