* To keep people who aren't regular on the forum up to date with what's going on generally
* To provide all members a summary of what is hot or of special importance / interest at the moment (eg: articles, the best blog posts, the best threads)
* To interact with members on a direct basis (eg: the first issue has a feedback survey)
It's not a "big heavy" newsletter - it'll be short, lightweight, and regular (monthly-ish).
Something simple and direct...
