This page has about 10 years worth of speakers designs.
All active, most with DSP crossovers, some full range with no crossovers, only Eq.
All are sealed box or open baffle.
No dome tweeters, Manger or BMR.
From 4.5 inch to 18 inch drivers, lCorian, Acrylic, ply wood and GRP.

Waveform Speaker Restoration project

My project with Vintage JBL woofer

Hi, just thought some people would like to see my project. Took over a year to built with help of my friend woor worker (quite a good one you'll see...) and another friend who proposed me the ribbon tweeters (HI-VI research RT2HA) and midrange (HI-VI research W5). I had the woofer which is a "refoamed" vintage JBL LE-14A. Result is real good. But.... Amp is making a huge difference, and recording quality is kinda too obvious... Poor recording is hard to listen too... On the other side, good ones are breath taking...

Hi,
I want to build 3 way closed baffle loudspeaker system but I don't know which speakers to choose. I have one Quasar ( by Tiberiu Vicol) amp which is diy amp with audiophile caracteristics .
Please advise. The budget is not high.
