Thanks for the Antek link. What did you find that Antek has over Plitron?
I see that Antek offers extra secondary windings, but the voltages are not what I would require for a audio PA project.
What Antek model would you use and for what application?
Good info on DIY toroid's using variacs!

I have wound lots of SMPS transformers with just a few turns and even that was hard to get neat and safe.
The same went for a class d output inductor.
