Ok , this might be a little off the wall, but has anyone tried to build DIY seating for their theatre room?
My Home Theatre room is kind of small, I was thinking of building some folding theatre seats. A couch kind of takes up a lot of space.
Does anyone have any pictures, links or plans for any seats like this?
I saw some theatre seats on the web, but I am not going to spend $200 per seat for theatre seats. My Theatre is a pure DIY project.
So far I am very happy with it. But maybe I just have low standards? I watched Scorpion King last night on my system, it was great. Would be even better if I turned the sound up even louder.
Thanks

all right!
you would like to have real theatre seating?
what about $65.00 per seating, and you can connect them to each other. Refurbished, in almost new condition!
They are the real thing with folding bottom!
you want a cupholder on each chair? add another 5 to 10 dollars.

I expressed myself wrongly, not expensive for REAL seating but it
would make a project allot expensiver, like I sayd I am intressted.
like having such 4 seats would be great 2 couples can watch a
movies together in a special atmosphere !
Do you have pic's of them ?

I have a bunch of used ones I would like to sell. I needed 8 for my theater but I had to buy 20. These came out of a nice theater in Austin and are in good shape. They are light blue.

Best theatre seating
I think the best theatre seating is a bunch of bean bags, pillows, and thick blankets scattered all over the floor with a small fridge with refreshments and snacks....Pat

A friend of our family has a "real" home theater... CRT projector and everything. He's go two lazyboys and in front of those some real nice beanbag chairs. His room is long a narrow, so it works out great.
