Ooh! That's singularly impressive speakers for £15 initial outlay! 😀

Now what the flip do you do about dustcaps to keep out bits of iron before moving onto renovating the crossover capacitors? 😕

This is Acoustic Suspension, IIRC. Can you fit wooden phase plugs or find or make some bits of cloth? Does it matter? Beats me... 🙁
 
I have a question? I don't see a port so I'm assuming these are sealed enclosures? But without a dust cap are they actually sealed?

Do a search at parts express. They have quite a few dust caps. Even shipped to the UK they couldn't cost more than ten bucks or so.
 
Hi Mr2racer the latest picture includes the dust caps & surrounds that cover the mounting screws. I was waiting for the dust caps to come from Australia as they were a lot cheaper than in the uk, your right they weren't sealed at the time but I just played them at a low volume as they had been refoamed 🙂
