DIY Solidphono RIAA circuit from TNT-audio....

HI,

I'm looking for a good phono RIAA circuit for my MM-pickup.

Found a project at www.tnt.audio.com called "the Solidphono".

The SSM2017 is absolute, so I'm using the SSM2019 instead. Can't get it working - it's all noise and distortions at the input.

Is there a mistake in the drawing of the input connections and groundingscheme? It looks strange to me that on of the differiential inputs(-) is connected to ground...(?)

Anyone who has built this circuit? Ane comment in general?

Best,

Peter

No. Just add two 50-100ohm resistors in series with the inputs or add ferite beads on the input wires. If the SSM2019 is anything like the INA103 this will greatly defeat the inclination to oscillations.
Kuei will likely come with better siggestions.
