DIY Screen Material

I'll try not to ramble. I have an example of a DIY screen that I would like others to try, or report on if they have done simular. Since it is so simple and cheap, I would highly recomend it for other noobies, like myself.

It is simply the old "white sheet", BUT behind it, is glossy black plastic. I took a large trash bag and cut it so it would unfold. Used tacks to stretch both tight to wall.

I happened to notice a lot of light passing through the sheet and thought, something shinny and dark would help with the brightness AND contrast. I set the OHP at a distance that gives me a 60" diagonal sreen. (that's plenty big enough for my needs)

For my set up, it added contrast that made the rig easily watchable in daylight. It's really nice at night! I've got some big Wows from folks who own large TVs at a MUCH higher cost. ($70 total investment) 😉

Now I am at the point where I don't know if I want to spend any $ experimenting any more.

So, if anyone trys this, please let me know how you rate the results.

Thanks,
