Hello, im new to this projector stuff and i have a question. Will a 2800 lumen bulb be enough for my 15 inch LCd display? Also, is 75mhz ideal for movies? its a 1024x768 resolution. I dont want a big image and the room is small. Im looking for 50-60 inch screen. The LCD is from my HP monitor. The monitor name is Hp vs15 and looks like it will be easy to take apart. From the looks of researching for a while, the DIY overhead projectors look simple and easy to make. Thanks for the help!
also, all i have to do is take apart my LCD and put it rite on top of the projector rite? No fresnel lense needs to go over it? Thanks again!
I thought 3000 lumens and up were good for LCD screens? Also, anyone know the answeres to my other questions? Thanks!

By projector are you refering to an Overhead projector? If so, yes, that is correct.
No fresnel lense needs to go over it?
Most OHP have both fresnels hooked together under the sheet of glass that you would set the LCD on. No fresnel needed between LCD and projection lens.
2800 lumens is low. You wouldn't want any ambient light or the projected image could become washed out and unwatchable.
