Hey All,
Just wanted some thoughts/follow on ideas on a project i've recently undertaken, I found a non working JVC SA-22 amp, and decided it would be really cool to keep its vintage look but incorporate some of today's more modern technology inside it. The idea is to install a device such as a harddrive into it and upload mp3s or wav files onto it so the amp essentially becomes a music station. Id like for the VU meters to function as they normally would also, i suppose i'd remove all the internals of the amp and replace it with a PC motherboard/soundcard etc to drive the sound...has anyone ever embarked on such an idea? would be great to hear from you! Cheers, Andy
