Hi guys
I got some cheap ICEpower 50ASX2BTL modules for my desktop setup.
But i need the buffer/preamp so i can run the module as intended (BTL)
In the attached image below is 2 pics. The recommended buffer from the design manual, and Elliot's at the the right.
They are pretty similar, but they differs in 2 main points; the recommended got some DC-blocking between the op-amps, are those needed?
The last thing that they differs with, is the resistance of all resistors, Elliot uses way higher values, is that recommended?
A second thing, i'm going to decouple the op-amps with X7R capacitors, but in some places i have seen people also using some larger electrolytes in parallel with the ceramics. Is that wise? and how large should they be? and should they be of MKP or electrolytes?
Sry for being such a noob..
