DIY LCD -- Need help -- Sharp 18" panel & Digitalview controller
Hey guys....kinda a newb to this stuff, and I was really hoping for some answers here. I know I need to hook this controller up, and I even found the manuals on both (w/ pinouts), but I still have NO IDEA how to hook these two together so I can get this display working. I was hoping I could just buy some adapter or some crap that will hook the two together, but Im guessing no...sooo......
Here's what I got (click to get the manual):
Sharp LQ181E1DG01 18.1" LCD TFT Flat Panel
Digitalview SV-1600 Controller
My issues:
1. in the Sharp manual, they are called by R, G, or B then A or C THEN the number. On top of that, they are referenced to as Left or Right pixels. In the SV-1600 manual, they are simply R, G, or B, then a number and referenced to as Odd or Even data bits. Uhm.....???
2. I dont kno where to get the mating connectors for the LCD i/f and the i/f on the controller to make the cable I need.
So thats pretty much it. I have those two, and I want to make a display, but dont know how. I know, I'm a newb. and if someone already answered this qestion, IM SORRY! You can slap me. So any help or whatever is MUCH appreciated.....
Thanks!!
