Hi All;
I hope I'm not repeating here - but I have just downloaded the FREE software program for drawing wiring layouts on PCBs and perforated Veroboard.
The link is >
Software : DIY Fever – Building my own guitars, amps and pedals
The program is very simple and quite good for what it is. Version 1 works well on my laptop running XP - Version 2.0 I've had trouble "opening" even though its in a Java file extension(.jar) and shouldn't be any big deal.
I would like to know if the same sort of program is available for actual metal chassis layouts for DIY tube amps - as the 'DIY Layout Creator' does not do this ?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
My reply email is > kimbalsummers@hotmail.com

Like a 3D CAD program, or just 2D panel design?
For 2D panel designs, try the free software from Front Panel Express.

3D would be nice - but 2 D would be quite suitable - nothing high tech is required - just a plain old chassis wiring layout program.
2D Front panel design would also be very useful as well.
