I am unconvinced that group delay at these frequencies is a real issue, but I don;t dispute that the tapped horns may be lower..
I struggle a great deal to try and figure out if it matters too. I have sealed designs, ported designs and Im working on horn designs just to have different designs for comparisons.
So gentlemen....
If you were gonna have a two loudspeaker synergy style horn system with the loudspeakers crossed in front of the listener like the old Jorden module system, or Geddes style, which pattern would you pick?
This is a conical horn, would 90 degrees be good or am I missing something?
