Hey Ryan. Can you set-out the way how to connect two or more TDA1541 D3 boards to the V2 I2S to Simultaneous board in differential mode?
I understand LE1-4 and BCK1-4 but after that I get a bit confused.
Thanks.
Yes it is a little confusing.

Thank you Ryan!
No worries!
What kind of differential output stage are you thinking of trying? I've been using sowter1465 transformers recently and am pleased with the performance.
For now, in my single D3 pcb setup I’m using a 6n23p tube srps buffer. I’m not shure this will also work in differential mode.
Just remembered I’ve got the Bisevik transformators laying around. They are mounted on a pcb for the IanCanada ess stack. I could give them a try. But this is off-topic for this thread😉
Hi,
I can get my hands on a series of TDA1541A S1 versions. Genuine new old stock from a repair company in Belgium so no Chinese fakes.
I would want a few for myself but am able to buy the whole stack of about 15 pieces.
Would there be interest from you guys in these chips?

@Supersurfer
Any idea of the price point ? I could be interested in 2 pieces ... depending of price, of course

Yes very much depending on price.
Hi Ryan,
is it possible (by simple re-wiring of IC's legs/nets on the board) to force your I2S2SIM to work with 32bit I2S input data instead of 64bit? Target - to get 352.8kHz SR at 11MHz BCK instead of 22MHz. Now with 32FS instead of 64FS I have the same (right) channel DATAs on both DL and DR outputs.

Hi Ivan,
This is beyond my scope of knowledge sorry - Might be best to ask the circuit designer ECdesigns.

Hi ryanj,
It should be possible to modify the decoder by adjusting the delay circuit from 32 bits delay to 16 bits delay (as we now have only 32 bits / frame instead of 64 bits / frame):
-> disconnect the connection between U4 (74LV164) pin 13 (QH) and U5 (74LVC79) pin 1 or remove U4 (74LV164) from the PCB.
-> connect U5 pin 1 (data) to U2 (74LV164) pin 13 (QH)
I can't test this over here right now as I don't have any 32 bit / frame sources.

Thank you ecdesigns!
I will come back once I try your suggestions. So I need simply remove U3,U4 (excess 16 bit shifting). And then to feed U2 exit (pin 13) to U5 data input (pin1). Right?

Hello,
short question does any one have the board outline/dimension for the sim board V1 and V2? thx a lot

Hi Ryan,
I do not see a link to order on the first post anymore. Are all the V2 boards sold? If so, any chance for a new batch?
Thanks,
ym wong
