DIY Heil's, worth a try?

I am interested in the "heil" design of ribbon speakers. Three questions:

1) For high frequency response, electrostatic vs. heil. Whay would you chose?

2) Are heils efficient? Assuming n48 magnets.

3) Is there any other information/pictures other than this site http://mywebpages.comcast.net/neilandbarbaradavis/DIYHeil/DIYHeil.htm
floating around? Do heils have another name? I sure can't find much info on them.

I would like to build some big ones if they would give even nicer highs to my electrostats.

Is there a diagram of one in that thread? I could not find one on thats adam's site.
