Hi,
I am new to DIY audio. I just purchased a raspberry pi and plan on buying the Allo Digione Signature.
Are there DIY DAC plans / options that would work with this? I have a budget of ~$300-400. And I would not need an electronics case.
Thanks.

Allo Digione has S/PDIF output but doesn't a normal RPi have I2S output? If you're into DIY you can get an I2S DAC which does away with the need for the Allo.
From what I understand, the USB output on the Rpi is a very noisy signal. This the need for the Rpi doubt hat & Allo DigiOne.
$239 seems a lot to pay if the principal benefit is isolation from RPi noise. Transformers on a DACs output could achieve that for 10-15% of the price.
