Yes they sound way better. Dave ( Planet10 ) was liking there idea that ground is the first contact instead of center pin. Also you cant really see it but the outside ( GND) shell slides inside. I can get them cheap as i'm going to be soon selling them..

I was under the impression that the beleden 1694a was the best belden choice. The 1855a is the same but a miniature cable.

I am looking for top quality coax cable, but with very small outer-Ø for use with Hirschmann plugs from MAS series like this one:
930015517 | Hirschmann MAS Series, 4 Pole Miniature Din Plug Plug, 4A, 34 V ac/dc IP30 | Hirschmann
always necessary e. g. for Quad 405 and 303 so as Naim Audio NAP 110, 160 and 250

This I would take:
Belden 1855A, outer-Ø 4,03 mm (.023")
https://catalog.belden.com/techdata/EN/1855A_techdata.pdf
Belden 8216 (RG174) outer-Ø 2,8 mm (.019")
https://catalog.belden.com/techdata/EN/8216_techdata.pdf
But maybe there are better coax versions in order to better, more natural sound and dynamic. Thank you for advices.
This supplier could be have other interesting alternatives.

Ideal for me would be the coax cable "FSJ1RK-50B" (provides for me best sound quality) - go to
https://www.rfparts.com/fsj1rk-50b.html
or

but in the wanted outer-Ø.

Do not use RG 59 for audio cable. It was designed as an RF cable , 75 ohms , for use as antenna cable. RG 59 has a copper coated steel center conductor with a tinned copper shield. NOT for audio use. Look at the cable wire for your TV.
For audio use a solid or stranded copper center conductor with a tinned copper shield , never a foil shield , and the lowest capacitance per foot as possible.
I have used component video cables for audio , better connectors , low capacitance , better center conductors and can be split for stereo.
Any type of cable suitable for video is excellent for audio use.
Hope this helps

I've re-purposed AV component cables like Ed - especially a few old Scart based cables. Interesting that some had slightly different sized shielded cable, and sure enough the slightly larger diameter runs had a lower shunt capacitance. This is not high grade, high voltage cable, just simply used for retrofit inter-connections within an amp for short lengths.
