So, for a single unit it's 30€ + (shipcost/10) + shipping to buyers' house... (Italy, in my case).
Cannot see how much is shipping here from your country; I only took some AtariVCS cartridges from Netherland, in the past...

That'll probably be it. It goes on weight mostly and I have *no* clue how much that would cost. "Problem" is that I didn't get a quote how much it would be to my house but that probably can be fixed with a quick hop in the car 😉

All in all I think for under 50 it'll be delivered to you.

Hey guys, quick question. I looked through my junk and found a few old computer CD drives, mostly made in China, Korea, or the Philippines, but two got my attention and was wondering if they'd be promising as far as quality goes. One is Plextor PX-W3432Ti, made in Japan in 2000, and the other is Teac CD-532E, also made in Japan, in 1999. Compared to current generation drives both are quite heavy.

I have try Plextor and not so good at sound . I use spdif for output .Controller with atmega.
Now I use in a setup like in this thread a TEAC CD-W540E but i have tested one CD-5010A and is better for my ears.
Also i have at my home a UNICO Research CD Primo with CD-5010A for comparing.
The best sound is with Teac unit.
I have tested : LG 52X , LG DVD GSA-H10, Asus CD-S520/A5, Plextor Plexwriter, Teac CDW548.
Teac are by far are the best and after that come next LG and Asus.
DAC : TDA1541 ultimate DAC 4.0 , Nakamichi DAC 101 , TDA1543 dyi DAC, DAC 24BIT 192KHZ CS8416 + AK4396 + NE5532P

Hi Nocturna81; I´m Dutch like yourself, but I live in Spain and I´ve been looking all over the internet for over a year now to get my hands on a TEAC 5010A to replace the broken TEAC CD-552-E that´s build into my Unison Research Unico CD CD-player, but so far no luck. The official Unison Research Technical Service Dept. here in Spain wants to charge me EUR 300,00!!!! for replacing the broken drive, which is pure robbery to me.
So would it be possible to get a TEAC 5010A in Holland seeing there are so many people interested in getting one?
