diy ampifier for sony ss-rv900 pair of speakers

Hello,

I got a pair of sony ss-rv900 speakers (3 way speaker ,bass reflex box) from a Hi-fi setup which is not working well now. Could you please help in building an amplifier for these speakers?

While searching I could only get the below specifications:
The speakers are of 6 ohms each.
The hifi setup was rated as:
140+140 watts (6 ohms at 1KHz, 10% THD)
DIN power output (rated): 115+115 watts
Power consumption of the whole system is 220 watts
Also, opening the hifi setup I could see the circuit using ic STK442-130 which is rated as 150+150 w.

Could you please suggest what minimum wattage amplifier I could use to drive these speakers?
As the power consumption of the setup is rated as 220 watts, can I use a 50+50 watt amplifier to drive these speakers, using ICs like LM3886 or TPA3116 or TK2050?
Or do I need to use 100+100 watt amplifier to drive these speakers like TDA7498 etc?

Please suggest.

Given that the speakers are bass-reflex, sensitivity of the speakers probably is at least fair. So IMO I'd say if your listening room isn't terribly large and sound absorbent, that you could play them loud enough with a 50+50 watt amplifier.

Another indicator of amplifier power handling needed probably would be the diameter of the woofer of the 3 way system. If it isn't larger than 30 cm, then I would think that 50W per channel might be adequate.

I suppose you have no desire to overdrive speakers. People
usually need a couple of watts of power for casual listening.

From the three amplifiers you mentioned, I would choose the
one with best THD+noise performance. The most interesting to
me looks TK2050.

Attached sample pictures of the speakers. Here both the woofer and mids speaker drive are of 13 cm cone type and the tweeter is of 5 cm cone type.
Each speaker is of 4.5 kg.
