diy amp using sure electronics(WONDOM) Amplifier Boards

hi, guys, I am currently doing a complete audio overhaul on my 2011 jeep compass and I need minimum 17 channels of amplification I was thinking about buying 2 x 6ch and 1 4ch as well as a sub amp but this is not really in my budget right now and I don't see it in the near future as I want my amps to all match.

anyways I ran across the little Chinese amp boards and they seem to be getting good reviews. and then I saw the sure(WONDOM) ones at PE. and they look like way better construction/quality however they need a 36v supply, so then I was looking at boost packs for 12-36v 5amp and they seem to be just a coil, some caps, and a inductor of some sort possibly a transformer but they look like it only has one winding.

I could possibly use this but from my experience in car audio, all the amps I have used take 4gauge direct input all these little amps seem to take 12g so i dont know if this is ok.

I am good with soldering so i could possibly make some amps but the designs I see on this site are using SMPS and ive never made one of these.

I would like 10x 100w ch, 4x250w ch and 2x500w-1000w channels for subs

how feasible would it be to make something like this and would it cost about the same as the Chinese amps to make myself(parts only I like tinkering so time is worth it to me)
