I was looking at some EAR work and they mention about distributing half the load at the plate and another half at the cathode.

In this case, say a el34 amp with a 5k load. So the plates gets 2.5k and the cathode get another 2.5k. SO the total load for the tube is 5k. Is this reasoning correct?
