Dear all diyers, I facing distortion on GainClone system when power off. The system generate "Pops" sound when switch off. But it not reallt loud.
By the way, I hear this kind of distortion when I change the speed of my ceiling fan.
My GainClone is Inverted with mininum component (3 resistor & 2 cap) only. Can someone guide me what should I solve the noice.

Selamat Pagi Steven (well it is here).
Don't worry about the small pop when you turn off the power, that is fairly normal.
If your GC is affected by other switches etc, it could be that you you need to shield your amp or that your house wiring needs to be improved! Not being aware of the wiring practises in your country, I can't really make any suggestions but I have all my hi-fi plugged into a separate circuit.

Is it possible to put 0.1uf / 400v cap in front of transfer & connect to switch as well.
I planned to put in DC Block from primary to reduce my transformer heat.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean so I can't really comment.
