Op amp and Discrete using a lamp for Stabilisation
🙂 Elliot is the MAN! 🙂
Audio Test Oscillator - ESP project 22
I also know that Elektor have published (I subscribe and collect)
a very low distortion OPamp+lamp Sinus Generator some years ago.
Nelson is addicted to lightbulbs for good reasons.
They have that PTC, positive temp coefficient, that we need sometimes.

Could you draw a schmatic please?
Thanks

Elektor 1994 - 1000 Hz Sinus Oscillator
uses OPA627 and 12V/50mA lamp in Wien-Bridge.
At 8 Vrms; THD <0.0003% and 3rd harmonics -120dB

Re: Op amp and a light bulb
Linear has schematics (using Linear's op amps, of course🙂) for some VERY low distortion oscillators. Here's a few pointers to get you started, the most critical one is first
http://www.linear.com/pdf/an43.pdf, pages 29-33
http://www.linear.com/pdf/lt1115.pdf, page 12
http://www.linear.com/pdf/lt1122.pdf, page 8
Note:
The first one is a large file and the most important stuff is 4 pages. Sorry 🙁 But , on the bright side, the entire app note IS interesting and potentially useful reading. Jim WIlliams is a hoot!

Hello Jens
Hi, I hope you read this, since i cannot send E-mail directly to you, I live in Denmark (Fredericia), and I got the leach Amp 4.5 working perfect (I think 😀 ), I used the mica caps, and the original transistors.
You are welcome to mail back to me.
