I'm working on a generic Korean amp that uses a single ir2184 chip. With a signal driven into the amp and the gain low wave looks normal. Turning the gain up distorts only the bottom half of the wave. Any ideas what is causing this issue?

You have two variables. Is the problem the gain or is it the output level that's the problem?
Leave the gain at one setting and change the level with the signal source.

Post a good quality photo of the component side of the entire main board and the component side of any driver boards.
No audio on the pin driving R188? The diagram I'm using may not be the same.
What work has been done to the amp?

New fets and drive transistors in the power supply and a new ir2184 along with new mc4452's in the output section
Post the DC voltage on all header pins of the driver board. Copy and paste the following and fill in the blanks.
