Nice work on the microController! Why would only some bits have a pop? Could like a snubber across relay contacts help?

Hi!
Help please create a .hex file.
When attempting to compile MPLAB does not create a .hex file and reports an error:
preamp.c:24: error: (141) can't open include file "xc.h": No such file or directory
