Discrete Feet For MMGs

Attached are pics of my 'discrete feets' project for my Maggie MMGs. Most Maggie owners go for the supports that raise the speakers higher. Most use a back strut for additional support.

I tried to make mine as discrete as possible. My main goal was to get them vertical and be able to move them around easily. I pull them 3 - 4 feet away from the wall when I'm doing serious listening. I found no need to raise them higher since the sound panels on MMGs are already about 8" off the floor.

This was a very simple project that only required (2) 18" pieces of 1-3/4" X 1/2" red oak and 4 shelf braces and some 1/4" X 1" bolts from Home Depot. After some experimentation I cut each of the red oak feet down to 13-1/2" long. They started off being 18" long but that was overkill.

The MMG 'discrete feets' keep my MMGs vertical and my wife happy!

Looks good Jim! Out of curiosity what are you driving them with?

I use a PS Audio C-100 Integrated ICE amp., 200w/ch into 4ohms, with a PS Audio DLIII DAC. My 2-channel setup is pure PC Audio. My 42" LCD TV serves as a computer monitor as well.
