I looked all over this board looking for how to gut the screen from my Dell 15" LCD, and finally stumbled on something useful. I found a link to http://cfeuillet.free.fr/KolimaVP.html which is in french. None of the pictures load because whoever did the site put a foreward slash instead of a backslash in their links.
Anyways, if you go to http://cfeuillet.free.fr/images/ then you can just click on the individual images to see how to take apart the monitor.
The writeup is for a BenQ LCD with speakers, but the model number on the panel (M150XN05) is an exact match to the Dell e151fp.

Disassemble Dell E151FP
w00dy,
Hi, I have that Dell monitor also. Where did you find the model number on the Dell that matches the BenQ? I looked at the entire outside casing of mine and found no match to the numbers you used.... One possibility is the manufacture dates are different (mine was built in August 2002).
Did the pictures help you at all?
Any info would be appreciated because I am going to tear into this soon.
Thanks,
Remshan

the number I found was on the back of the LCD backlight/screen assembly. You have to remove the base, stand, and back of the case in order to see it.
The pictures at this site were helpful. If you've taken stuff apart before, it shouldn't be too difficult. The pictures were helpful in indicating where "the next thing" was that needed to be removed in order to completely disassemble the monitor.
I'll check for my manufacture date later and add that to this post.
