Has anyone built or heard a rythmic subwoofer with the direct servo option? I am planing to build a musical sub kit which will also serve in a home theater setup. I had been interested in a parts express titanic sub kit prior to finding the rythmic site. I am thinking of a sealed 12" subwoofer. Any thoughts will be appreciated.

I've built a DirectServo and been very satisfied with it.
I decided to with DS since I wanted to build a quality sub for music - movies comes as a distant second in importance (of course I'm also using it when watching movies). So, I basicly traded output for quality - alltough DS can output more bass as a sealed sub that my listening room can hadle without various items & light walls starting to resonate. I posted a bit about my sub in a previous thread:

Actually DS is on right now and supporting superbly my main Dynaudio speakers (x-over at 40hz). With a flip of a switch lowest bass just disapears from 'The Cardigans' - 'Long gone before daylight' -songs which is playing in my cd-player. It's just amazing how there is no way pinpointing - hearing - that there is a sub playing also until turning you turn it off 🙂
