I want to build a push pull amp with the directly heated tetrode 2E25 operated in triode mode. My question is, should I connect the beam plates to the cathode?
2E24, not 2E25. Cathode is internally connected to g3 in 2E24.
Hytron 2E25, not 2E24. Looking at the datasheet, it does not appear internally connected., I assumed I would just connect one side of filament, but I wanted to be sure as I have never worked with a directly heated beam tetrode before.
Wait, what if I have a hum pot or center tap filament transformer and amp is cathode biased, would I connect to top of cathode cap?
