Pull it but be careful. The amp may draw excessive current. If it doesn't, check each channel to see if they produce clean audio.

Nope It just started burning resistors like crazy in the output section Even with a limiter in-line.

So now i have to replace 6 resistors.

Thought i seen a couple more go but cant seem to find them right now.

Well, it looks like it narrowed it down to one channel.

Yeah But thats not even the channel i had a problem with In the first place.

Well, it looks like you only have one more channel to repair. 🙂

That channel obviously had a fault. Before you bypassed the protection circuit, you had no clue where the problem was. Now, at least you know which channel to look in.

I just wanted to bump this thread since obviously Mike needs more help on this (my) amp. he has been "fixing" it since Sept. of last year, and needs all the help he can get.
